The Story

Jean Nassar is Chairman and CEO of the group. Born into a business family in Mopti, Mali on December 20, 1955, Mr. Nassar was a boarder in Lebanon. He then continued his studies at the University of Marseille, graduating in 1976.

He began his professional career as Renault dealership manager in Montargis and was successively promoted to best dealership in France.

Mr. Nassar remained there until 1984, when he undertook the creation of an import-export company for French products for Africa. He was hired by a Lebanese group based in France in the export of spare parts, then took on the challenge of launching a development strategy for sugar and rice in more than 30 African countries.

In 1990, Mr. Nassar became a partner and decided to diversify the group's activities by chaining partnerships with major groups such as Moët Henessy, Bosch, SKF, Donaldson, Cadburry, etc.
Mr. Nassar has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since that date.
Mr. Nassar is married with three children who are working in the group since 2016.
